This Privacy Policy (the “Policy”) describes our practices in connection with information that we collect in order to respect the privacy of every individual who visits manhogany.com and all subdomains, including blog(s) (collectively, the “Site(s)”). This Policy contains details regarding our practices and your choices relating to how we collect, use, and disclose personal and other information about our customers and Site users. You may provide information to us when you visit our Sites, including any subdomains or mobile versions of the Sites. 
By using our Sites and providing personal information to us, you agree to the terms and conditions of this Policy.

Personal Data 
All “personal information” (“personal information” is defined as any information used to distinguish or trace an individual’s identity such as their device and order information including name, mailing address, email address, etc.) that we collect and maintain will be subject to the version of the Privacy Policy in effect at the time of such collection. Manhogany reserves the right to change the terms and conditions of the Privacy Policy at any time without notice. Your continued use of the Manhogany shall serve as your acceptance of any change in these terms and conditions.

How We Use the Information We Gather 
We primarily use the information we collect and store to enhance Mahogany. Except if we sell all or a portion of our business, or as otherwise described below, we do not rent, trade, or sell your information.

To Provide Services to You 
We are committed to safeguarding the privacy of our users while providing the highest possible quality of service. We will only use the information that you give us in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998 (Act). 
We use information held about you in the following ways:

  • Operate, maintain, administer, and improve the Sites and our Services;
  • Facilitate the sale and delivery of your purchases and registrations;
  • Contact and communicate with you when necessary;
  • Respond to your comments or questions;
  • Provide you with additional information according to your preferences;
  • Customize and personalize your Mahogany experience, including our algorithm which helps decide which products may be ideal for you;
  • Generate aggregated statistics to help us improve the customer experience and develop new fragrances;
  • Make Mahogany easier and more convenient for you (such as by prepopulating forms when you have already provided identical information);
  • Provide recommendations to you;
  • Send you information and marketing materials about Services and products available on our Sites as permitted by law (you will have the ability to opt out of such communications);
  • Train our team members; or
  • Other internal business purposes.

Personal Information We Collect
When you visit the Site, we automatically collect certain information about your device, including information about your web browser, IP address, time zone, and some of the cookies that are installed on your device. Additionally, as you browse the Site, we collect information about the individual web pages or products that you view, what websites or search terms referred you to the Site, and information about how you interact with the Site. We refer to this automatically-collected information as “Device Information”.

We collect Device Information using the following technologies:

 - “Log files” track actions occurring on the Site, and collect data including your IP address, browser type, Internet service provider, referring/exit pages, and date/time stamps.

Additionally when you make a purchase or attempt to make a purchase through the Site, we collect certain information from you, including your name, billing address, shipping address, payment information (including credit card numbers, email address, and phone number. We refer to this information as “Order Information”.

We use the Device Information that we collect to help us screen for potential risk and fraud (in particular, your IP address), and more generally to improve and optimize our Site (for example, by generating analytics about how our customers browse and interact with the Site, and to assess the success of our marketing and advertising campaigns). 

Sharing Your Personal Information 
We share your Personal Information with third parties to help us use your Personal Information, as described above. Third Party Providers 
This Policy does not apply to information collected by third parties, for example, when you visit a third party website or use a third-party service, even if you access it through our Sites. Please take a moment to review the privacy policies of third-party sites before you disclose information to them, as we cannot be held responsible for their actions with regard to your information. 

Information We Collect From Third Party Services 
We haven’t built all of the features offered on Mahogany from scratch. To run the Services, we often utilize various third-party products (collectively “Third Party Services”), such as Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter. If you authorize these Third Party Services to share information with us, you grant us permission to collect certain information, such as your name, email address, phone number, and any other information that the third-party service makes available to us. Please note that your use of these Third Party Services is governed by their respective Terms and Conditions and privacy policies. For any information we receive from a Third Party Services, we use and disclose such information in accordance with our Privacy Policy.  We also maintain pages for Mahogany and our products on a variety of Third Party Services’ platforms, such as Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Instagram, and other social networking services.  When you interact with our pages on those third-party platforms, the third-party’s privacy policy will govern your interactions on the relevant platform.  If the third-party platform provides us with information about our pages on those platforms or your interactions with them, we will treat that information in accordance with this Privacy Policy. 

Behavioural Advertising 
As described above, we use your Personal Information to provide you with targeted advertisements or marketing communications we believe may be of interest to you. Additionally, if you are a European resident we note that we are processing your information in order to fulfil contracts we might have with you (for example if you make an order through the Site), or otherwise to pursue our legitimate business interests listed above. Additionally, please note that your information will be transferred outside of Europe, including to Canada and the United States.

Data Retention 
When you place an order through the Site, we will maintain your Order Information for our records unless and until you ask us to delete this information. 

Data Security 
We are committed to making sure your information is protected and have selected third-party providers that help keep your information safe. Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee complete security. Any information that you provide to us is done so entirely at your own risk. 

Changes 
We may update this privacy policy from time to time in order to reflect, for example, changes to our practices or for other operational, legal or regulatory reasons.

Children 
We are especially sensitive about children’s information. We’re not a site targeted towards children and we don’t knowingly collect information from children under the age of 13. If you are a parent or legal guardian of a minor child, we will treat any information that you provide us while using Mahogany on behalf of your minor child as information as otherwise provided in this Privacy Policy.
